idiots.

all i can say is, it went resaonably well. at times a little awkward but frequent laughs made it better.
pulling that stunt TWICE 4 years ago is the biggest regret in my life. if i could turn back time, i wouldn't undo any embarassing incident (e.g. going grocery shopping not realising my biore pore pack is still on), 'stead i wanna undo the pain i caused.
want the friendship back so bad. i know all is not forgotten, but sure hope i'm forgiven. was telling mel how i was so afraid that the dinner will be a scam. a plan of revenge on his end. (mel thinks i watch too much telly) oh well.. we'll never know till it really happened. and if it does, i deserve it.
all i can say to you is, truly sorry and i miss your presence in my life.

alright all. just a little stupid photo (mel you can get it straight from me, i can't send it to your hotmail) to cheer us up.
LOOK AT HOW STUPIDLY ONZ I LOOK IN THE MORTAR BOARD WHEN MEL LOOKS SO DAMN NOTHING-IMPRESSES-ME COOL!
hard times have come to some of us and looks like they're gonna lay ahead of us for awhile.
but lets not let it get to us too much, okay?
whatever it is, i'm glad i know i can count on you girls for anything.
btw: vivien, hang in there, when you graduate we all take photo ok. 2 more years only. (then we can finally up the birthday-gift budget.)
love you girls!! *beeg hug*

come 29th august, your dear friend shall commence jetsetting around the globe on business! (well, its only to hong kong, and its only 3 days, but HECK i'm going to be joyous bout it anyway) hopefully it'll be the start of many work-related trips.
i can hardly wait. will be going by myself, which means no boss breathing down my neck!
just that the whole convention will be held in mandarin and cantonese... yar yar i can see you all going "then how is she going to conduct interviews?!". excuse me, my mandarin is not all THAT bad (not to mention i'll be provided an interpreter).
but my mandarin is not all that bad ok!

me: (company name) good afternoon.
him: (slowly, as if uncertain) uh.. hello. is this uh... angeline?
me: yeeeeeesssss....?
him: oh, hello angeline. this is mr teh.
me: (thinks: mr teh?! who is mr teh?!) oh hello mr teh, (fakes confidence) how can i help you?
him: have you received my emails?
me: uhm, no, i can't say i have. where are you calling from please?
him: *names company i interviewed like a gazillion weeks ago*
me: oh! no i'm sorry i havent received your email.
him: oh, okay... i send again... by the way angeline........ (long pause) are you a Christian?
me: (taken aback) uhm, yes.
him: okay.... do you have "the purpose driven life"?
me: uhm..... yes.
him: oh you have. okay nevermind. (hangs up)
after that i received a LONG string of emails, which i had previously gotten but deleted for fear of it being virus/spam since i had no idea who this fella was, on Christianity and morality.
wah. if i thought evangelism at mrt stations was weird, this one takes the cake. and i had only met this guy for what? 2 seconds when i passed him my name card, thats all.

hey u all HAVE to go down to marina bay next year for the fireworks finale. a full 15minutes with no one blocking your view ('cept for a lone photographer) and i know where we can sit where there's no crowd and u can see EVERYTHING. even the horizontal fireworks that shot across land. i can't explain to u properly coz my excitement hasn't worn off yet... but the place where i was sitting i could see everything. the place where the fireworks were ignited, the lower fireworks hidden from the people at esplanade... which was about 85% of the entire display. and the little bush fire that started 5 minutes into the showcase, haha! oh man, it was GREAT. better than the NDP ones. the last part was the best; 3 minutes worth of bangs and pops brightening the sky and gold sparkles just raining on and on into the night. *breathless*

yes school term has begun. *moan* and national day's tomorrow but you guys aren't around! which means no fireworks at the grass patch! *pout* well... just dropped by to say I MISS YOU TWO and i wish i was in kl grabbing clothes and shoes and all things pretty with u guys right now. anyways, remember how we all used to bemoan the fact that the guys from our batch aren't cute at all? (save for ALL the guys we know... no, that wasn't added as an afterthought la.) well, maybe i didn't have this discussion with all 3 of u, but maybe just xinwei. eh girl, then do u still remember when all the '84 batch came in? soooooo cute that batch of guys. but the girls... sigh. all the pretty girls were from our batch la (hahaha). yeah that time the j2 girls were good looking, but not the j2 guys. the cute ones were all younger! dammit. hey u go look around if u disagree. the '83 batch of girls are generally quite chio.
well, this particular batch HAS STARTED SCHOOL! yes, i am how happy to finally have eye candy in science. sorry, but the guys in science just cannot make it la. i was on my way home when i met one of my church friends on the bus and he was with these 2 guys. wah. they really look quite good and dress well man! phweeet! one of them has the prettiest eyes!! hahaha... okok don't fret. i'm not about to turn into some lecherous girl again. i've just been lacking of eye candy for a few years now. *wink*

ahahahaha u all GOOD... not bad weiyi actually managed to surprise me. just that i spotted him on the way to the loo and he was hovering outside the student services center. he's so dark now!!! so handsome!! can't stand it (i bet u guys can't stand me too heh). but he was wearing a cap coz his hair's damn long and er, bushy. so his ears stuck out. he looked a little like a monkey. eh u all have to see him now before he turns into snow white again hahaha... SO HAPPY!! thanks guys... =)

eh i saw this damned weird person on the bus today.
at first i only saw from neck up, looked like an old-ish and yet funky-ish looking woman, with thick foundation and lower eyelid eyeliner, short spunky hair that's gelled and dyed orangey, and of course, those auntie-type greenish tattooed eyebrows.
then i saw the walking stick, normal brown handle, but the stick itself was shiny with purple flower prints all over it.
and then i craned my neck to see what she was wearing...
OLD AH PEK CLOTHES! it was a GUY can?!?!?! no boobs, no bra, no butt! just a button shirt, sling bag and slacks, with moccassins! i checked again, ADAM'S APPLE GALORE!
it was WEIRD. even an old gay guy would be better dressed, this person just looked like a tranny who didn't take off his makeup from the drag show the night before, and put on some of his grandfather's clothes! everybody was staring!
too bad the bus was damned crowded, i would've taken a picture with my phone.
yuk.

wah lau i would LOVE to go kl for just one day, but yeah i have no money and i'm lazy to travel all the way up. and you guys are all paired nicely already, and besides on the return trip i'll be all alone... ah well. just help me get 2 pairs of shoes yeah? erm... can help me to get one pointed and one round covered? any one that'll look good with pants... preferably one black and one brown/pink yeah? smooch.
i think i'll just wait in singapore for weiyi to return la. *pout* he'd better make it worthwhile.
anyways!! i'm getting the zen neeon once i get my salary... 2 of my colleagues have it liao and it's so small and pretty!!! it's got everything... and it's cheaper than any other 5 gb players la. yay. yay. yay.
