more gems from pilates class - this time not from the aunties we were telling you about, but rather our (very likely gay) instructor. we were supposed to work our abs by lowering our bodies slowly downward from a seated position.

instructor: okay everybody, curl your spine into a 'C', then go down slowdilly...yessss, that's right. slowdilly ah... if you can, go very very slowdilly. if you can, try to curl up into a sitting position also. slowdilly!

i think i worked my ab muscles more by controlling my laughter than doing the exercise.

btw, xinwei, everytime you don't come for class, i ache like mad. he made us do pushups! i think i haven't done pushups in a gazillion years.
