thailand: the land of smiles.

and it really is, you know. the people are so hospitable (thanks dennis for giving me this word when i was searching for it) and WARM. just, so warm.

anyways. i'm back. truth be told, i missed singapore, somewhat.

just a little cheesed off as (many of you know already) i only had one hour to zip to a shopping centre and back to the hotel, changed and ready. but yes, i managed to get hold of the purpose of my trip: the balenciaga bag. in chocolate, because the white was rather ahlian.

but then the rest of the trip made up for it in leaps and bounds as they took us (64 international delegates from 16countries and 140 thai participants) to many a cultural show and we all had vip treatment.

seriously. vip treatment is the way to go. checking in half an hour before departure time and lounging in the vip room before going to the plane 5 mins before take-off is the life.

but anyways, we were even brought to the paddy fields and i tried my hand at harvesting and milling rice! which was really an amazing experience.

so amazing that i might consider finishing up all my rice from now. because its really, really backbreaking work in scorching sun.

either that, or i shall skip rice, altogether and opt for noodles.

in other news, i would like to kill my (person from the office). welcoming me back to work this morning was a hugeass pile of work and an amazing amount of corrections made to my stories.

i don't understand why she would change my wordings, and then UNDERLINE them and go "angeline, pls check the facts. this seems wrong" like hello. of course its wrong you biatch. thats because you've changed the RIGHT facts in my wordings to some weird nonsense in yours.

grr.
