Bangkok in a week (lets hope)

if all goes well, your friend will be off on a business trip to bangkok from 13th-17th this month. ok, lets all not jinx it first by bombing me with a whole long list of things to buy, because not only am i paranoid that this one won't happen like the last one didn't, i will also, regretfully, miss the weekend market completely.

i DO need some help haggling with the people if i get a chance to go shopping tho!! so Mel, our beloved Bangkok babe, you can expect me to come running to you soon for a list of how-to-say-s. like how to say "SO EXPENSIVE! CHEAPER CAN ANOT?" and "I'M HUNGRY I WANT TO EAT *name of food*"

oh and of course, i probably need to know how to say "sir" and "madam" and whatever else i need to say for the interview...but that's just secondary. *wink*

vivien: not to worry, i'm sure we still can go on another trip this year-end. i haven't yet forgotten (and have leave to clear anyway). that's hopefully if everyone manages to fulfil their amount to save a month. i know xinwei our Singaporean shopaholic, has a crazy amount she intends to save.
